Sometime after that, they performed "Yes I will" and they did a little dance with silver glittery canes. It was really good, and they really are very smooth dancers.Next, one the the BEST songs to see live... "SHINING STAR"! It was so good... Nick was TOO Horney during that song...He was just covered in sweat and he was shaking his booty and everything...actually, they were all shaking their butts at the audience, it was great. ALso, I dunno which song, but I think Kev jumped off of the left end of the stage during the last part of the concert. Of course, being how close I was to the left end (50 feet away) I had no pics left.
Soon after, They came back out, and Did "Answer to our life", where, before, Kev gave George W. Bush a diss for not doing sh*t for the environment, and BSB talked about their charities. During Answer to our life, they PLAYED INSTRUMENTS (Yes, stupid haters, you HEARD ME RIGHT!), and sang that great song that THEY WROTE (Haters, you HEARD ME RIGHT, AGAIN!).
Around the same time, I think it was after, Some of the guys came out and introduced the backup band members... the band members were playing something kinda funky that I didnt recognise, but when it came to the guitarist's turn to be recognised, he played guitar in front of nick, and Nick fell on the floor and started behaving in a very horney way... he adjusted his pants and said something about 'electric guitar music making him horney' or something like that...lol it was funny... MANDA you SHOULD've BEEN THERE!!! OMG you would've LOVED it when that happened!!! Then, they introduced the dancers.
Afterwards, BSB performed "If you stay" (a non-album track for those that dont know.) It was AWESOME. Some people perked up cuz they didnt recognise the song. I LOVE that song. If you are a BSB fan and you havent heard that song, Lemme tell you this, it is GREAT. It's only found on the "Booty Call" soundtrack, but if you dont have the inclination to buy the "Booty Call" soundtrack, you should D/L it! BSB has the most AWESOME harmonies in that song, and they sounded great when they performed it live!
Sometime later in the concert, they Performed "Everybody". When it started, people nearly Jumped because they started it All-of-a-sudden and everything... Lemme tell you this...when it came to Nick's lines "AM I SEEXXXXUUUUUUUUUAAAAAAAAALLLLLL" I dont think a person could milk any more sex appeal from those lines than he did. And everytime he sang those words, He got even more of an audience response than before...Then, BSB performed "Get Another Boyfriend". IT was good, as usual. They all seemed to be very aroused by the time they were singing this song.
After that, AJ came onstage by himself. He said "There's good news, and there's bad news"....I dont remember the good news...I think it was something "You're one hell of an audience" or something like that. The bad news was "I think we have time for ONLY 1 MORE SONG tonight cuz we're out of time"... Everyone was not pleased to hear that...I heard a big decending audience reponse of "AAAAAAAAAAAAAAWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW" and even a few "Boo"s were present in the house.
So BSB came out and performed "The Call". They did the Remix of it. AJ was really good in that song...And you know that part of the song where it's getting to the middle where they sing, but no lyrics... They all dropped through the holes in the stage, and the rose out of the stage wearing big blue robes and singing that. That is the BEST part of "The call" is the section in the middle. It's all in the HARMONY. Then, they took off the robes and went to the rest of the song. Near the end of the song... AJ nearly TAKES HIS SHIRT OFF. He takes it, and pulls it over his head. you can see his pecs and his tummy and everything...hehe... He's put on a few pounds since he went into rehab, but still... he's still very good looking at the same time...Then, "The Call" ends. People automatically assume that was the last song, and they start heading for the door. I stay put. I KNOW the concert isnt over until AJ sings that last E in "SOMH". Then, "Shape of my heart" begins, and all the dumb people that thought the concert was over, they ALL come rushing and running back in big hoards towards their seats. That's one thing that the Timmothy Finn of the KC Star failed to notice. How all the people started RUNNING BACK once the music started again. When BSB came up to perform "Shape of my heart", they were wearing KC Royals Jersies :::Instant yucky thought of *Mitch*, my 2nd ex, comes to mind cuz he works for the Royals, and apparently eats/sleeps/breaths Royals baseball too lol GREAT:::: I think it has to do with Kev being a Royals fan...I know he HAS a Royals jersey. I've seen him wearing it in several pics and 'On the set of "As long as you love Me" ' on the "all access video".
Well, "SOMH" was good, and I enjoyed the BSB concert well, even though I didnt get to meet Kev :::sniff sniff::: or I didnt get upgraded to 1st row by Mix 93.3 (I'm just happy that I got to go!). I think Howie and Nick walked towards my sections the most. Kev and Bri, sometimes. AJ seldom came to my side. He was busy on the OTHER side. Nick and Howie looked at my section for sure... I dunno if they looked at me though... I forgot to put on my *YELLOW SHADES* so I could be more *FLAMBOYANTLY DRESSED* than some of the chicks there. The BRRRRRRRRRIIIIIIIIGGGGGGHHHHHHTTTT red shirt wasnt enough... Maybe I should find a way to *GLOW IN THE DARK* next time...lol I TRIED not to scream too terribly much, That's because I needed a VOICE in CHOIR the next day (Gggggrrrrrrrrrrr). I had Half-a-voice left the next day. I mainly Sang Along at the concert (sounds typical of me).
After the concert was over... we all went to our cars... the stupid preppy chick that wore heels was b*tchin about the way her feet felt (LMAO!!!! That was HER MISTAKE to wear those shoes!) when she came out to the parking lot. Really, she should've known better. That's why I wore PLATFORMS. Haha!
While we were sitting in our cars, a hopefull group of girls waited by the road as a bunch of busses came by. Whether BSB was on these busses, I dunno, but I heard a chick scream "BRIAN!!!!!!!!!!!!!" (Amazing... she HAD a voice left!) We just sat in our cars. The smart people took cabs. It took us a grand total of 40 MINUTES to JUST GET OUT OF THE PARKING LOT. Really, It was SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO entirely congested. Really, that was worthy of making a snickers commercial about. It was like... the concert all exciting and everything... then, we went out there and got in our cars and getting out of the parking lot... it was so anti-climatical- there was nothing going on and everything was SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO slow and congested. Next time, I think we should take a cab (like the SMART people!) & by the way... speaking of Snickers... I'm hungry....Mmmmmmmmmmm.....
Well, that concludes my review of the BSB concert in Kansas City that went on that wonderful monday. BSB concerts really are LOTS OF FUN. Anyways, the guy with the black mohawk (I think his sister dragged him to the concert) was having lots of fun. I saw him singing and dancing his booty off, especially during "IWITW". lol How could anyone NOT notice him having so much fun?
